Colour lithograph from a volume of plates (30) depicting scenes of Turkish life. Bound in publisher's decorated cloth, rebacked with purple morocco. Title page lettered with title in English and 'Imp. Lemercier, Paris'. All other plates lettered with title in English and French, signed by Preziosi, dated 1857 or 1858, and lettered, variously, 'Imp. Lemercier, Paris'.
